The French wine group, Michel Laroche, reported turnover of €14.8m ($14.5m) for the first half of the current 2002/2003 fiscal year, up 5.7% from €14m ($13.7m) in the first half of the previous fiscal year.

Laroche said it expects higher growth in the second half of the year, which is the customary pattern for its sales. The company confirmed its forecast for 10% turnover growth for the full fiscal year to the end of March 2003. It posted turnover of €29m ($28.4m) in 2001/02.
