The French wine company Michel Laroche has seen its first half net attributable profit fall to €570,000 (US$706,340) from €730,000 in the same period of 2002/03.
However, profit before tax and extraordinary items was almost flat at €1.06m, compared to €1.07m in the first half last year.

The Chablis-based group saw turnover, though, up to €16.75m from €14.78m last year.
