McGuigan Simeon Wines expects to achieve its 13th straight year of double digit profit growth in 2004/05.

Speaking at the company's AGM today (19 November), chairman David Clarke said: "We are very confident about continuing growth in the year ahead."

The Australian wine group reported net profit for the year of A$40.25m, up 25% on the previous year.

Australia's largest vineyard owner would focus on streamlining the business and seeking out savings from its recent merger with Simeon and acquisition of Miranda Wines, Clarke added.
