Maxxium Global Travel Retail has announced the appointment of Mariska Van Beukering to the position of marketing manager for Europe South and Middle East.

The company said today (7 April) that Van Beukering, previously marketing and PR manager for Telecity Group, will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns alongside Maxxium shareholders and their partner brands within Belgium, France, Greece, Italy, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Spain, Turkey, the UK and the countries of the Middle East.

Succeeding Laurent Cosson, who was promoted to commercial director in October last year, Van Beukering will be working with the brands and the country managers on the regional launch of Absolut Mango, the extension of promotional activities around The Black Grouse, the unveiling of a labelling promotion for Famous Grouse, and the ongoing Rémy Martin 'Heart of Cognac' campaign.
