The company said 10,000 bottles will be available "over the profitable Halloween period" at the Jagermeister e-shop as well as in the London on-premise. Bars including Meat Liquor, London Cocktail Club, Belushi's and Stonegate Pub Co will stock the bottles, which feature four mythical creatures.

Meanwhile, a digital campaign run through Jagermeister social media channels offers consumers animations, videos and soundtracks reminiscent of classic horror stories and set in the forests of Saxony, where Jagermeister comes from. The digital campaign is supported in the on-premise by gothic point-of-sale kits containing posters, forest bunting and fridge vinyl stickers.

Mast-Jagermeister said rate of sale for Jagermeister increases by 34% during the Halloween period in the UK.

"Halloween is now a crucial date in the social calendars of our target audience and Jagermeister is the brand the consumers want to see," said Mast-Jaegermeister UK's marketing director, Nicole Goodwin. "We're focusing on digital because that's where our consumers are engaging with content, but our PoS kits are bigger and cooler than ever and we're working collaboratively with customers in-venue and across their social channels to maximise awareness for all parties."
