C&C Group has teamed up its Magners brand with Cosmopolitan magazine's "Light" themed supplement to coincide with the launch of its Magners Light cider brand across London.

The Ireland-based drinks company said today (28 April) that it will be sponsoring the 36-page supplement, which will be included with the June edition of the women's consumer glossy and distributed across London in mid-May.

"The lifestyle supplement contains features such as an exclusive interview with Sex and the City star, Sarah Jessica Parker, fashion advice from Cosmopolitan's editorial team, useful tips on how to lose weight and an article on how to make the most of the summer," said the company.

Magners brand manager Richard Barnes added: "We are very excited about this collaboration with Cosmopolitan as it is one of the key print titles for young professional females - our target audience for Magners Light. The supplement ensures that we communicate with this audience in the run up to summer, which is a crucial trading period for us."

C&C Group recently launched two campaigns for Magners Light in London hairdressers and health clubs as well as a new television advert which will run on ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 targeting the capital's female consumers.
