The French drinks and luxury goods company, Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH), is reported to be close to selling its Champagne subsidiary, Pommery, to the Vranken Monopole Champagne group for between EUR150m and EUR180m. LVMH said yesterday that it was currently considering the sale but other reports have suggested that the deal will now definitely go through.
