Lucas Bols has confirmed an opening price of EUR15.75 per share for its IPO.

Lucas Bols launched its IPO this morning

The company, which is 75%-owned by private equity firm ABN AMRO Capital and former Rémy Cointreau executive Huub van Doorne holding 25%, released the launch price late yesterday, giving Lucas Bols a market capitalisation of EUR196m (US$223m). Trading of the 8.1m shares being allotted was scheduled to open on the Euronext Amsterdam today.

“We are delighted that so much interest was shown by the investor community in this IPO,” said van Doorne, who is also Lucas Bols' CEO. “We are excited to be back on the Amsterdam stock exchange and to enter this next phase together with our new shareholders.

“We look forward to executing our international growth strategy and further strengthening our position as the worlds’ leading cocktail authority.”

The post-IPO free float is 64.9%, with the total number of issued and outstanding ordinary shares totalling 12.5m.
