Louis Latour Agencies has appointed a new member to its UK sales team.

The agency said today (11 October), that Richard Oldman will initially promote its family-run wineries across the north, the midlands, the south-west and Wales.

Oldman has over 30 years of wine-trade experience and has previously set up a wine division for Fuller's brewery as well as spending spent 15 years at Maisons Marques et Domaines working with brands such as Louis Roederer.

In his new role, Oldman will manage the promotional side of wineries including Maison Louis Latour of Burgundy, McHenry Hohnen of Margaret River, Warwick Estate of Stellenbosch and J.Vidal Fleury of Rhône Valley.

Oldman said: "Louis Latour Agencies has one of the most comprehensive and consistently high quality portfolios of top producers from around the globe. I am excited to be working with this experienced team promoting such a rich variety of wines."
