A long summer has proved a huge bonus to the Indian beer market, according to reports in the local press today. Quoting market analysts, the reports said that while the 80m case market grew by about 18-22% during April-June this year, the growth rate in July has been around 70-80%. "The dip in beer sales that usually occurs after June has not happened this year because of the late monsoon", said an analyst.
