Loch Lomond Group has released two new special edition single malts to celebrate the company's second year of a five-year tie-up with The Open golf championship.

Loch Lomond The Open Special Edition 2019 was made by the company's master blender along with brand ambassador and pro golfer Colin Montgomerie. The whisky, which is packaged in a green golf-inspired box and includes Montgomerie's signature, carries an RRP of GBP37 (US$48).

Loch Lomond The Open Course Collection Royal Portrush is named in celebration of the 148th Open Championship, which is returning to Northern Ireland's Royal Portrush golf club "after a near-70 year absence", the company said. The 19-year-old single malt was created in partnership with Loch Lomond ambassador and pro golfer Darren Clarke. The whisky, which is 50.3% abv, carries an RRP of GBP150. The pack also features Clarke's signature and a map of the Royal Portrush course.
