Littore Family Wines has opened an office to service Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The Australian wine company, formerly known as Jindalee Estate Wines, said last week that the office, located in Germany, will employ Joerg Hacker as general manager of sales and marketing.

Previously with Gallo and BRL Hardy's, Hacker joins Littore from Casella Wines, the owner of the Yellow Tail wine brand, where he ran the European office for nine years.

"I am very excited to get the chance to join Littore Family Wines," said Hacker." After gathering a lot of experience in other companies, I am now very much looking forward to being a part of the expansion and growth of this family-owned company with tremendous future potential."

Vince Littore, director of Littore Family Wines, added: "I am convinced that (Hacker) will give more than 100% to perfectly position our wines and particularly our brand range Jindalee in Europe and beyond. We are looking forward to a prosperous future co -operation."

The family-owned company, located in Geelong and Sunryasia in Australia, changed its name from Jindalee Estate Wines last year.
