UK-based wine consultancy Litmus Wines has added a further variant to its Ginking gin- and wine-based RTD brand. Ginking Botanica Italia, the third addition in as many months, comprises a base of Italian white wine and London Dry gin, with angostura bark and the same root botanicals that are found in Vermouth.

Launching this month in the UK off-premise, the variant joins Ginking Original, Original Rosé - which both contain English wine - and Ginking Mediterranean, which uses Spanish wine.

Having debuted in late-2016, the Ginking range has been created by Litmus founder John Worontschak.

"We have created a new category within alcoholic beverages and we continue to spearhead its growth through strong sales and innovation," said Worontschak.
