The Australian beer and wine producer Lion Nathan has confirmed it is on target to meet its previously forecast of an 11% rise in profits for the 2002/03 financial year, despite a tight Australian beer market. The company also indicated that CEO Gordon Cairns was winding down his time at the helm of the group.
