OAO Lebedyansky has reported a net profit for the first half of the year of US$45.6m after minority interests.

The figures are the first that Lebedyansky has compiled under International Financial Reporting Standards and there are no figures for the year earlier calculated under the same standards.

The Russian juice producer, which also sells baby-food saw volumes up 24% on the same period last year to 365.5m litres.

The company said that it increased its share of the juice market, with the Tonus and Frutonyanya brands doing particularly well.
