Norman Weston, chairman of UK cider company H. Weston & Sons Ltd died on the morning of Thursday 30th December 2004.

Weston, aged 88, was the grandson of Henry Weston who started Westons Cider in 1880. In 1932 Norman Weston left school and was guided by his uncles in the process and business of cider making and built Westons into the company that it is today.

Norman leaves behind his wife Maureen, three daughters: Helen, Diana and Juliet and two sons: Henry and Tim.

Helen, Henry and Tim continue to run the family-owned cider and perry maker as managing Director, orchard director and audit director respectively.
