Laurent Perrier has posted a 30% rise in turnover for the year to 31 March. The French Champagne maker said today (13 May) that a 28.5% increase in turnover to €213.5m (US$270.6m) was in line with its forecast of €210m.

The company, which acquired Champagne house Chateau Malakoff in February last year, said that the increase on a comparable perimeter, excluding Malakoff, was 13.8%. Export sales for the period increased to 58.3% from 55.7% a year earlier.

The company said that its four main brands, Laurent-Perrier, Salon, Delamotte and Champagne de Castellane, saw their sales volumes rise by over 10% each.
