Champagne producer Laurent-Perrier said today (12 May) that full-year revenues rose 9% as its key brands outperformed the category.

Laurent-Perrier, which produces brands including Salon, Delamotte as well its eponymous label, said volumes rose 5.3%, driving revenues to EUR208.1m (US$268.1m) for the year to 31 March. The Champagne sector saw volumes rise by 2% last year, the company noted.

The Champagne maker said that it was "particularly pleased" that exports increased its share of total sales to just under 64%. Laurent-Perrier said that its top-end brands "grew strongly", accounting for 36% of the company's revenues.
