Krones has secured a contract with PureTex Water Works.

The drinks packager and bottler said yesterday (18 January) that it would partner PureTex on its high-speed water bottling plant.

"This is one of the largest projects in the history of Krones worldwide," the company said. PureTex, a purified water bottler based in Texas, will invest in ten high-speed bottling and packaging lines from Krones.

The first lines will be in operation by the end of this year. The facility will allow PureTex to hire 380 employees and expand its long-term commitment to communities in southern Texas to provide clean, local, low-cost drinking water.
