Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates has appointed David Simpson as its California Brand Group Director.

Simpson was director of wine and sales education and will be responsible for managing and directing the marketing for the La Crema and Pepi brands.

"Both La Crema and Pepi are unique brands that succeed very well when consumers discover them," said executive vice president John Grant.

"David Simpson has a natural ability to teach and lead our sales team."

"The winemakers have given us memorable wines and introducing those wines to the broadest possible audience will be our focus," headed.

Simpson began his career with Kylie Wine & Spirits in Iowa before moving to Minneapolis as a wine account specialist representing not only Fetzer but what was then a relatively new brand called Kendall-Jackson.
