Coming up at this year's London International Wine Fair:

  • Mare Magnum (Stand G23) will showcase its Vernissage wine carton range at this year's wine fair. The company will have red, white and rose variants of the brand available to taste. The product is not available yet in the UK but can be found in markets like Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Canada and Japan. Mare Magnum is looking for agents and distributors in several markets, including Russia, the US and India.
  • Romanian Winegrowers (Stand E40) will welcome two new members to its stand at the exhibition. Petro Vaselo and Alcovin will present their wines at the trade body's stand, along with existing members Halewood Romania, Recas, Serve, Stirbey, Wine Princess and Vinarte.
  • French cooperative Val d’Orbieu (Stand K40)is launching a new grapefruit-flavoured beverage made from French rosé wines, Cap Soleil Rosé Pamplemousse at the wine fair. Made exclusively with French Syrah Rosé wines from the Languedoc area, water and concentrated grapefruit juice, the beverage has an abv of 10%. Cap Soleil comes in a 3-litre, stand-up pouch with a handle and tap dispenser.
  • Wines of Lebanon (Stand N11) returns to the wine fair for the second year, with new wineries in tow and a programme of masterclasses to be held on its stand. Tim Atkin MW and Lebanese wine expert Michael Karam will present an overview of the region’s winemaking industry together with a tutored tasting. Other tastings day include 'Overcoming the cliché: Positioning the modern Lebanese industry on the international market', and 'Lebanon: the terroir, grapes and people that make today’s Lebanese wine culture'.   • New Zealand's Yealands Estate (Enotria Stand N40), will have owner Peter Yealands presenting new wines at the show accompanied by chief winemaker Tamra Washington. The company will re-launch its UK presence at the show with new distribution partner Enotria.
