US energy drinks producer Jolt has announced a deal with Amazon, one month after its Jolt Cola relaunched in the US market.

The company said yesterday shipping of specially-created four-packs will be fulfilled by Amazon world-wide. The energy drink will also be eligible for Amazon's Prime service.

"With more than 300 million users on Amazon, Jolt Cola recognised that the fastest way to get Jolt in the hands of as many fans as possible was to accelerate its distribution with the leading online retailer," the company said.

Jolt, which first appeared in 1985, relaunched in the US last month after a hiatus.

The product is also available in US retailer Dollar General.

"If we could've had Jolt delivered to our front door in 1985, we would have kept going for days," said Jolt CEO Doug Dixon. "Snowflake hipsters don't know how much awesomeness awaits them with their first can of Jolt. Now they can order it on Amazon and feel the rush of all the sugar and twice the caffeine without wrecking their pour over coffeehouse street cred."
