Jay Advertising, Inc., an Interpublic Group Company (IPG) and leading national full service retail advertising and sales promotion agency, has been named the agency of record for the nation's fifth largest brewer, Genesee Brewing Company.

Jay Advertising will be responsible for the company's advertising, marketing communications planning and brand development, sales promotion, media planning and buying, and national brand and trade public relations to facilitate new positioning and revitalization of the company's brands.

Genesee also contracts brews for Boston Beer Co., maker of Samuel Adams beers. The Company, currently owned by Genesee Corporation, is in the process of being sold to a private group of investors.
