Bacardi has signed up Oscar winner Jamie Foxx to host a series of interviews with other famous faces in support of the Grey Goose vodka brand.

Foxx will sit down for chats with stars including Denzel Washington, Melissa McCarthy, Vince Vaughn and Benicio Del Toro in the new digital project, called Off Script. In the first episode, launched today, Foxx speaks to Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman.

The eight-part Off Script will be distributed online and across social channels, Bacardi said.

According to the company, the project is a "natural extension" of Grey Goose's longstanding involvement with film and aims to "meet consumers where they consume content".

"The series will spark culturally relevant conversations that galvanise audiences through subjects that are universally relatable," Bacardi added.

In the past Grey Goose has sponsored movie events including the Sundance and Toronto International film festivals.

Foxx won the 2004 best actor Academy Award for his portrayal of Ray Charles in the movie Ray.
