Jameson has launched a travel retail advertising campaign across Europe.

The Pernod Ricard-owned Irish whiskey will be the subject of an execution, entitled 'Perfectly Balanced', which will run in 26 sites at six European airports from this month. The adverts will appear at London Heathrow, Amsterdam Schipol, Frankfurt, Moscow Domodedevo, Marseilles and Kleflavik.

"The advertising campaign will enhance Jameson's position in travel retail where sales represent 10% globally. In 2006 sales of Jameson in Travel Retail increased by 12% compared to the previous year," said Michael Cunningham, regional manager of travel retail at Pernod's Irish Distillers.

Six sites in Heathrow airport will appear from this month until June, while 16 sites in Frankfurt airport and one in Schipol will run for the same time. The single executions at Moscow Domodedevo and Keflavik will be installed for a full year.

Financial details behind the campaign were not disclosed.
