Jamba Inc has signed a deal to sell its Jamba Juice products throughout hospitality company Centerplate's convention centres and sports stadiums in the US.

In a bid to capitalise on the trend towards 'better-for-you' options, Jamba Juice will initially add the product line to the food service offerings at select Centerplate-serviced venues, the company said this week.

It plans to introduce Jamba Juice kiosks, while the two firms intend to further expand in late 2010 with the development of "fast fare" quick service programmes that will enable the brand to fit into additional concession locations within each venue.

"This new relationship offers Jamba Juice an excellent opportunity to expand offerings into new venue types across the country ranging from professional sports stadiums to performing arts complexes," said Thibault de Chatellus, senior vice president of global franchise and development at Jamba Juice Company.

Last month, Jamba moved out of the red and into the black for its third quarter, despite a fall in revenues when compared to the same period last year.
