The Spanish dairy group Iparlat is to bottle the Coca-Cola Company juice brand Minute Maid for the Spanish market, Iparlat said earlier this week.

Iparlat invested 18 mln euro ($17.6 mln) in diversification in 2000 and 2001. The company set up a soft drink unit called Iparfruit and a fast food and milk drink unit called Gran Cocina Kaiku in 2000.

The Spainish company, with a staff of 399, posted a 196 mln euro ($192 mln) turnover in 2001, up 8.66 pct year-on-year. The company forecasts a 210 mln euro ($205.8 mln) turnover for 2002.
