UK pub operator, Eldridge Pope, has reported profit before tax and exceptionals of £1.9m for the half year, up 22.2% from last year's interim figure of £1.6m.

Turnover was up by 6.8% to £33.1m despite the fact that it was operating fewer pubs than last year. EBITDA rose by 10.3% from £5.2m to £5.8m.
