Interbrew, Belgium's biggest brewer, is considering legal action against the Slovenian competition authorities if the green light is given for a takeover by the country's largest brewer of the second largest. The country's competition authority is considering whether to let Pivovarna Lasko, Slovenia's largest brewer, take over Pivovarna Union. A decision is expected today.
