Innocent is stepping up its email and social media marketing activity across the 13 European countries it operates in after appointing specialist firm Pure360.

Email and SMS marketing firm Pure360 has worked with Innocent’s UK division since 2005, but its brief has now been extended to cover the rest of Europe. Innocent, which is majority-owned by the Coca-Cola Co, said it will be using the company's email marketing tools to integrate its email and social media activity. This will include posting newsletters directly to Twitter.

A spokesperson for Innocent told just-drinks earlier today (11 May) that the move represents the first email marketing campaigns for its markets outside the UK as there was "no previous provider".

Tim Fowler, Innocent's digital manager, said: “We've used Pure 360 since 2005 and have come to rely on its speed and functionality for all our eCRM activity, with the addition of their new social media tools it makes perfect sense to roll out Pure 360 across all our European territories."
