Innocent Drinks is said to be included in The Coca-Cola Co's Olympic 2012 marketing plans

Innocent Drinks has declined to confirm reports that it is to be included in The Coca-Cola Co's London 2012 Olympic marketing plans.

Coca-Cola is looking at involving Innocent in its Olympic strategy, with the inclusion of a summer festival run by the UK smoothie maker, according to Marketing Magazine yesterday (22 November). Innocent agreed to sell a stake of between 15% and 20% in its business to Coca-Cola in 2009 for GBP30m (US$49m). A year later, Coca-Cola upped its stake in the smoothie maker to 58%.

The UK arm of Coca-Cola was cited in the UK magazine as saying that it is considering a revival of Innocent's London 'Fruitstock' music festival, which took place in Regent's Park annually until 2006. It is not made clear, however,  how the festival would be branded.

A spokesperson for Innocent told just-drinks: "We are currently working on our plans for 2012 and have not confirmed any activity as of yet."
