Innocent Drinks is to launch a promotion across its children's smoothie range in the UK that will offer free packs of plant and vegetable seeds.
The promotion, which will launch from March to the end of April, will see every box of Innocent's children's smoothies and fruit tubes come with a pack of "easy to grow seeds". There will be six varieties to collect including carrots, tomatoes, cress, basil, violets and sunflowers, the smoothie maker said today (22 February).
The campaign will be supported by a television advertisement and online activity. The innocent kids' website will also be transformed to include activities, gardening tips and competitions, produced in conjunction with the Royal Horticultural Society.
"Last year our kids business grew by 22% as a result of expanding our range with our juicy drinks," said Innocent's kids marketing manager, Sarah Smart. "This new seeds campaign is going to maintain this great momentum."
