InBev is to hold a UK music and arts event in September in support of its Beck's and Beck's Vier brands.

Beck's Fusion 2008, which invites contemporary artists and musicians to perform, will be staged at Manchester's Castlefield Arena on 6 September with Massive Attack and United Visual Artists set to headline.

Consumers are invited to enter a ballot to win tickets on the Beck's website.

Nicola Gates, senior brand manager for Beck's at InBev UK, said: "This exciting initiative will reinforce the relationship between the Beck's brands and a generation of young, adult consumers. By making tickets available via an online ballot, we are hoping to make it accessible to people who are very much into art and music and want to participate in an event that will shape the cultural landscape during 2008."

The initiative builds on last year's Beck's Fusions event, staged at locations including London's Trafalgar Square.

Sectors: Beer & cider

Companies: Anheuser-Busch InBev
