The Canadian brewer is currently in the process of trying to merge with the US brewer Adolph Coors - a merger Ian Molson objects to.

In a regulatory filing last week, Ian Molson said: "Given recent developments regarding Molson Inc., the offerer [Mr. Molson] is currently considering his options regarding his holdings in the company including potential acquisitions of additional shares, either alone or with others."

Sectors: Beer & cider

Companies: Molson Coors
