Ian McCleod Distillers has launched two limited edition single cask malts from its Glengoyne whisky range.

The company said today (4 December) that the limited edition 14 Years Old and 20 Years Old malts have been handpicked at Glengoyne and "personally approved by the signature of the distillery manager".

The two single malts have been introduced to meet the "growing demand from Glengoyne enthusiasts keen to discover new and rare expressions" from the distillery, the company said.

Glengoyne's brand heritage and commercial manager Stuart Hendry said: "Combining years of knowledge and know-how, these latest malts chosen by our distillery manager and warehousemen look set to challenge our previous Mashmen and Stillmen ranges."

The malts will retail at GBP90 (US$185) per bottle for the 14 Years Old, which is limited to 296 bottles and GBP125 for the 20 Years Old, limited to 592 bottles worldwide.
