Thomas Gillespie, president and chief executive officer of Aqua Vie Beverage Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: AVBC) confirmed today that the company has initiated a flight of radio commercials on The Howard Stern Show, beginning the week of July 3, 2000, to coincide with regional retail availability of Aqua Vie's all natural Hydrators in new locations throughout the New York metropolitan area, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and beginning the week of July 23 to coincide with the regional availability of Aqua Vie in northern California.

Aqua Vie's "Turn Up the Heat" campaign, which runs throughout July in New York and Northern California emphasizes hydration as the best way to remain cool throughout summer.

Low-calorie, non-carbonated, all-natural Aqua Vie Hydrators(TM) are available in really "cool" flavors, with names like ...

  • Avalanche(TM) pear, guava and other natural flavors

  • Bamboo(TM) Japanese cherry and other natural flavors

  • Harvest(TM) French strawberry and other natural flavors

  • Java(TM) Kona coffee and other natural flavors

  • McIntosh(TM) McIntosh apple and other natural flavors

  • Paradise(TM) orange, peach and other natural flavors

  • Sun Tea(TM) Tea, lemon and other natural flavors

"Personal hydration is not only the foundation of good nutrition, it is also an essential component of the body's natural cooling system. Summer is a good time to begin a conscientious hydration program, and we encourage consumers to do so," said Gillespie. Aqua Vie is designed to make personal hydration pleasurable, thus making it easier for the body's cooling system to win its battle against the debilitating summer heat.

Aqua Vie Beverage Corporation develops and markets all-natural, lightly flavored, still (non-carbonated) bottled spring water. The company's low-calorie alternative beverages are bacteria-free and contain no preservatives. Aqua Vie produces and markets the Hydrator(TM) line of beverages in the United States and Europe. This beverage line, comprised of seven low-calorie, all-natural beverages that are lightly flavored and packaged in half-liter bottles, is designed to increase one's personal consumption of water, naturally. The underlying technology also serves as the new delivery system for Aqua Vie's nutritionally fortified E Line(TM), Elixer(TM), Empower(TM), and Ecstasy(TM), its nutritionally specific line of Aquaceuticals(TM); and Aqua Vie's nonalcoholic wine and champagne beverages made from spring water.
