Sun Interbrew has begun production of Hoegaarden in Russia. The unit of InBev said confirmed the move yesterday (18 April).

The move represents the first time that the white beer has been produced outside of its home country of Belgium.

In a statement, Sun Interbrew's president, Joseph Strella, said: "The debut of Hoegaarden's production in Russia signifies the acknowledgment of our company's achievements in ensuring international quality standards."
