Highland Spring has launched a James Bond parody as part of a new GBP5m (US$6.4m) TV campaign for its namesake brand in the UK.

The new ad, which will run across the Summer from 1 June, shows a Bond-style character parachuting into the Scottish Highlands before jumping onto a speeding train. The scene is then shown to have been in the mind of a commuter who has just pushed onto a crowded bus.

The 'Brave by Nature' campaign will also feature digital media advertising, VOD, social media, PR and Sky TV sponsorship running from 14 May to 31 August, Highland Spring said.

The push comes on the back of a packaging overhaul for the Highland Spring brand, which launched in April. The company said the design balances the "provenance and heritage of the Highland Spring brand with a simple modernity for on-shelf appeal".

In 2015, the company appointed Lucozade Ribena Suntory as its first outside distributor for a decade, as it continues plans to up production.
