Heaven Hill Distilleries has confirmed a change of sales chief at its recently-purchased Deep Eddy Vodka unit.

Eric Hund has replaced John Potts as VP of sales at the brand with immediate effect, with Potts moving on "to pursue other interests", Heaven Hill said late yesterday. Hund previously worked at Republic National Distributing Co, spending 15 years at the drinks distributor's Texas operations, where he played a part in driving Deep Eddy's sales in its home state.

He will report in to the unit's president, Eric Dopkins.

Launched in 2010, Deep Eddy Vodka, which now sells around 700,000 cases, was acquired by Heaven Hill in September.
