UK distributors Harvey-Miller Wine and Spirit Agencies is to introduce Long Neck, a new range of wines from South Africa into the UK on- and off-trade.
Alistair Mutch, managing director at Harvey-Miller HMWSA, said: "South African wines are increasingly performing well around the GBP5 (US$7.23) to GBP6 price point and we would expect Long Neck, with its distinctive design and superior flavour, to become a popular brand."
The Long Neck range is available in 75cl bottles and will retail for RRP GBP4.55 to GBP5.99.
A further five styles are planned to be launched in the UK later in 2009: Long Neck Chardonnay, Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chenin Blanc/Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet/Merlot.
