Halewood Wines & Spirits has launched a three-strong range of spirits under the name of BBC TV show Peaky Blinders.

Developed by Halewood's craft brewery acquisition, Sadler's Brewing Co, the Irish whiskey, spiced black rum and spiced dry gin roll out in time for the fourth series of Peaky Blinders. The show, which started in 2013, is based in Birmingham, near the Sadler's brewery in Stourbridge.

Anja Weise-O'Connor, senior marketing manager at Sadler's, said: "Sadler's has established itself as one of the country's true craft alcohol powerhouses and we're confident this new line of spirits will make just as strong an impression as its ales have."

Halewood bought a majority stake in Sadler's in June. Later in the year, Halewood partnered with Sadler's to launch Crabbie's Ginger IPA, the alcoholic ginger beer brand's first venture into beer. Crabbie's Stout, also created with Sadler's, followed in December.
