Halewood Artisanal Spirits has launched two new core expressions from its Dead Man’s Fingers rum brand in the UK.

Dead Man’s Fingers Black Rum is bottled at 40% abv and is available immediately across selected retailers. The 37.5% abv White Rum variant is exclusively available from Tesco and Booker now, ahead of a roll-out to wider retail from 1 January.

Black is a dark naval-style rum while White is a white rum.

Halewood said the expressions were created to “breathe new life” into the rum category in the lead up to the festive shopping period.

“With our new launches, we bring this same vibrant attitude to re-invigorate what are generally considered to be more traditional rum expressions, and ultimately continue to grow the category and bring more consumers in,” said Dead Man’s Fingers’ global marketing manager, Rachel Adams.
