Guenoc Winery has made its second major appointment in the past six months by hiring Gary Hawke as vice-president of finance.

The latest addition at the Lake County winery follows the appointment of president Roy Cecchetti in June. The company boasted that it is undergoing a resurgence following the arrival of Cecchetti as president in June, who in turn hired veteran winemaker Bob Broman as vice president of winemaking in August.

Hawke's most recent experience includes serving as chief financial officer at Martin Ray Winery in Santa Rosa, California.

Guenoc produces more than 100,000 cases of wine annually, specialising in Petite Sirah and Sauvignon Blanc.
