Bacardi has unveiled plans to launch its Grey Goose vodka brand in a limited edition Emporio Armani bottle in the UK, with sale proceeds going to charity.

Speaking to just-drinks today (25 October), a spokesperson for the company said that 250 of the limited edition Grey Goose vodka bottles, designed by Giorgio Armani, will be available to buy from Harvey Nichols stores across the UK.

"There are as yet no plans for these to be sold in bars and restaurants, mainly because they are great gifts since the external case actually cools the bottle. They would look fantastic on the bar, but are really for the individual."

Proceeds of the limited edition Grey Goose designer range will go to the Elton John AIDS Foundation and will be promoted exclusively at Harvey Nichols and forthcoming Grey Goose 'Character & Cocktails' events hosted by David Furnish.

The 70cl Limited Edition Emporio Armani bottle, encased in pearlescent cream leather, will retail at GBP100 (US$205) and will be available from 19 November.

Sectors: Spirits

Companies: Bacardi Ltd, Nichols
