The first consignment of Golden Kaan Reserve Selection and Winemaker's Reserve wines have landed in Europe and should be available in Germany and Holland during September.

This was confirmed by Marian Kopp, president of Golden Kaan Ltd, a joint venture between KWV and Racke International from Germany, who said there were three varietal wines in the Reserve Selection range, which was aimed at the off-trade and two varietal wines in the Winemaker's Reserve aimed at the on-consumption trade. They will fight in the €8-9 and €13-18 price ranges respectively.

These wines, with their distinctive map of Africa logo, will complement the Golden Kaan Classic range (€5+ range) introduced in 2003 and which to-date has sold more than 500 000 (x9 litre) cases worldwide.
