GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) has signed a deal with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) for its Lucozade brand in the UK.

The four-year agreement will see GSK become the official Lucozade supplier to the 'elite' England rugby teams, the company said earlier this week. The deal covers the men's, youth, sevens and women's teams.

No financial terms of the agreement were disclosed.

Last week, GSK launched a GBP15m (US$23.2m) advertising campaign for Lucozade in the UK - its largest investment in the brand to date - featuring three athletes competing in the London 2012 Olympic Games.
