Glacier Water Services has confirmed details of its latest dividend payment.

The California-based company said late last week that it will pay a dividend of US$0.50 per share of its common stock. Payment will be made on 30 January next year to shareholders of record on 16 January.

Glacier's board said that it has not adopted a "formal policy" on future dividend payments, either in amount or frequency. "The board … intends to continue to evaluate on a quarterly basis the appropriateness of paying a dividend for each such period," the company said.

Glacier provides drinking water dispensers in the US and Canada, through self-service bottles water machines in retail locations.
