Glacier Water Services has enjoyed rising sales and earnings for the first-half of this year.

The US company, which operates around 15,600 self-service water machines across North America, saw revenues rise over 13% to US$42m for the six months to the end of June.

Glacier said yesterday (9 August) that revenues continue to be driven by last October's acquisition of Gestion Bi-Eau Pure, the largest water vending company in Quebec.

Operating income reached US$1.6m, up from US$937,000 a year earlier.
