Greek olive oil producer Gaea has launched two spirits mixers in the US, designed to be used in the creation of a Dirty Martini cocktail. Both are based on olive brine sourced from the company's olive oil production process.

Gaea Dirty Martini Juice for Vodka is flavoured with sweet and hot red peppers, while the gin version is blended with coriander.

"As Gaea is a company dedicated to sustainable production, they wanted to develop a way to use every last drop of the olives," a spokesperson said. "Gaea uses the previously discarded olive brine to make the Dirty Martini Juice."

Earlier this year, Tails Cocktails launched a range of pre-mixed bottled cocktails in the UK. The company highlighted what it believes is a growing consumer trend for "enjoying cocktails at home".
