Fraser & Neave, the Singapore-based food and beverage group, has announced a major investment plan for Vietnam. The group plans to invest some S$73m (US$39.7m) in a number of projects in Vietnam beginning with a S$30m dairy plant. Work has just begun on the plant, occupying a six-hectare site in the Singapore-Vietnam Industrial Park. The plant is expected to be operational by the fourth quarter of 2002.
